Positive: The Villa Martiner has the best view i have ever seen. it is a 10 minute or so walk into the middle of the town and you can easily walk to the Seceda, Alpe de Susi, and Resciesa lifts. Monica was an extraordinary hostess. The is a very kind and understanding person and it made our stay extra special. The location is beautiful and very unique, with a castle-like turret offering fantastic views from some of the corner rooms. As a bonus, while in town, you can easily pick out the villa from the hillside which might be useful to figure out what path to take up the hill to get back to the villa. We stayed on the middle floor, which i think is called Alex. This is a very good spot for families or larger groups because it has multiple bedrooms, kitchen and other facilities of home.
Negative: Make sure you get good directions on whatever apps you use. Driving in Ortisei is tricky enough, but we had far too much excitement when Google maps took us the wrong way up a step mountain path (during a thunderstorm). Monica was actually kind enough to drive to where we were and lead us the right way. Moral of the story: he careful with the driving directions apps. If you need to double check the destination, you should end up pretty close to the Funiculare Resciesa. And I think if you just put Apartments Villa Martiner Ortisei as your destination, it should be just fine.

Positive: The property was exceptional. Beautiful rooms, amazing views and an ideal location. A perfect stay for a family. Monica is a gracious host and was very helpful with recommendations. There are vouchers available for a pool I town which was a nice surprise. We would love to stay here again!
